Hey guys, I think you really need to add an email confirmation feature to your sign-up process. As it stands rightt now, the only info people need to join is an email, a user ID, and a password. But the thing is: when a person gives an email, you should send out an email notification that they MUST read in order to activate their account. I could come up with an email address like anal@butthumpers.com, and that's enough to create a profile here. At this point in time there is nothing that stands in an author's way from creating a bunch of fake profiles with fake emails and then rating themselves five stars in every category. Conversely, there is nothing to stop someone who has a grudge against an author from creating fake profiles to bring their rating DOWN.
