Summary
Global warming is not the true threat to human civilization. The global ice age, which global warming merely sets the table for, is the real threat.
Nate Kristopher knows for certain how to prevent earth from flipping into the scientifically-predicted, disastrous ice age, called the End-Date. In 2059, as the ice age looms ever closer, Nate embarks on an intense journey to stop the onset of the ice age. However, he discovers that nothing is predictable or easy. Psychiatrist Campbell Devereaux is inextricably linked to his secretive past, and obnoxious as hell. Everywhere he turns he meets his old colleagues from a well-concealed experiment which vastly extends the human lifespan. One of them is trying to murder him, while another is merely trying to hasten the onset of the ice age.
Writer’s Note
Pulling The Dragon’s Tail, my debut novel, is a science fiction eco-thriller of 130,000 words. The rich and provocative characters include human, transhuman, (humans who morph robotics into flesh), as well as newly emergent, robotic intelligence. It encompasses humanity’s struggle to find its soul amid profound technological change, with human-induced environmental calamities, and with the omnipresent nemesis of human evil.
