Summary
Alfred Mirovan, a Human Rights activist vocalizing for freedom of speech in Egypt, hits on a chance meeting with a schizophrenic who narrates a ludicrous account of his ancestor Earl Robert Mirovan. The narration unveils secrets, long lost, not only of the unusual adventure of Earl Mirovan, but of a dark episode in the history of Emin Pasha’s Equatorial Africa in the 1880s.
“Blinding Blaze” is a first person narrative, narrated by a multiplex of characters, vacillating between Equatorial Africa in the last decade of the 19th century and our contemporary time.
